Gentle Giant created them solely as holiday gifts that were given exclusively to clients. I worked at Warner Bros. Studios at the time and was a client of Gentle Giant Studios for films including Corpse Bride, V for Vendetta and Harry Potter. Laser scanned in three dimensions directly from original costumes and props in the Lucasfilm archives whenever possible, this mini-bust was unmatched in 2005 with regard to its level of authenticity. Digital modelers processed the raw data, sculptors perfected the design, and painters brought the piece to life. The talented artisans at Gentle Giant each contributed in their own unique way to the quality of this piece. This rare holiday bust was in such high demand that the Salacious B. Crumb Collector's Club Edition Mini Bust (Limited Edition 2500) was released the following year and those are also hard to find now. Please see photos for the actual piece.
